There isn't as many cycle shops as there used to be. Finding a good shop you can connect with is often a search. If you are in need of a new or used bike or need repairs to an existing bike, find a reputable bike shop to help you. These bike shops we list are welcoming and offer a full range of great staff and lots of good stuff. When you buy any kind of bike there will always be the need to do repairs (its a mechanical thing after all) so knowing the shops are before you need help is a good thing. Finally if you are buying a new bike, buy from a bike shop, not a big box location, again, those big box locations do not offer service after you purchase your wheels, a local shop staffed with local people will definitely do this.

This store is not a drop off service but a non-profit society providing a low barrier and affordable workspace to anyone interested in repairing or working on their bike. You can learn bike mechanics here too! Kickstand volunteers help individuals to repair, dismantle and refurbish bikes on their own.
